Sheer Indulgence Beauty & Massage is a unique little beauty centre in Wisemans Ferry. The salon offers a wide range of beauty treatments and massage services to cater for all your skincare needs. Jodie, the salon owner, prides herself on making her clients feel welcomed, relaxed and rejuvenated while enjoying all their treatments. Jodie has studied extensively in the art of massage with Diploma qualifications in both Remedial Massage and Anatomy & Physiology from the Nepean College of Natural Therapeutics. She gained certificates in chaired massage, aromatherapy, hot stone therapy then she soon continued on to complete a Diploma in Beauty Therapy at the Australian Academy of Beauty to learn more about the skin and expand her services.
After travelling from her hometown to briefly live and work on Sydney’s Northern Beaches at a Bali-style beachside salon in Avalon, Jodie gained an interest from her then boss, in traditional Ayurvedic treatments, a fascinating ancient Indian healing system.
She then moved to Canada and based herself in the stunning snowfields of Whistler B.C for two years where she worked at two gorgeous day spa’s, which offered an exclusive collection of organic eco-friendly products and treatments expanding her industry experience and product knowledge.
Jodie’s insightful travel and work experiences soon brought her back to her roots to open up a salon where she grew up on the river at Wisemans Ferry.
Jodie has her main salon at Wisemans Ferry shopping centre which is very central for visitors to the area to come and escape to and visits Del Rio riverside resort on the other side of the river by pre-booked appointments where her second salon is located.
She continues to focus on continual education and offering her clients a choice of natural and Australian made treatments and products, including ‘ASAP skin care’ and an Australian certified organic skin care range ‘Botany Essentials’.
Jodies vision for Sheer Indulgence is to make every experience a relaxing, rejuvenating journey and a central place for all your beauty and massage services in Wisemans Ferry and surrounding areas.
